Terms and Conditions
These terms apply every time you enter a raffle on this site. By submitting an entry — paid or free — you confirm you have read and accept them. If you have any questions before you enter, contact us at support@footycomps.com.
1. Who We Are
This site is operated by Project32 Group Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), company number 12617834, registered office Henleaze House Business Centre, 13 Harbury Road, Henleaze, Bristol, BS9 4PN.
We run prize draws under sections 339 and 14 of the Gambling Act 2005. Every paid raffle has a free postal entry route with the same chance of winning every prize, so the draws sit outside the licensing requirements that apply to lotteries. We are not a Gambling Commission licensee.
2. Who Can Enter
You must be 18 or over.
You must be a resident of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland) unless an individual raffle states otherwise.
You must have the legal right to receive the prize at the address you give us.
Our employees, our contractors, and members of their immediate households cannot enter.
Anyone we have previously closed an account for fraud, abuse, or breach of these terms cannot enter.
We may ask you to verify your age and identity at any time. If you cannot satisfy a reasonable verification request we will refund any paid entries and you will be ineligible to win.
3. How to Enter
You can enter any raffle on this site in two ways:
Buy a ticket through the site, or
Send a free postal entry — see the Free Postal Entry page for full instructions.
Free postal entries enter the same draw pool as paid entries, with the same probability of winning every prize, including any instant-win prizes attached to a raffle. No purchase is necessary to enter, and no purchase improves your odds. There is no limit on the number of free entries you can submit per raffle, but each must be sent separately and individually stamped.
4. Closing Dates and Draw Dates
Each raffle shows its own closing date and draw date. Closing dates are absolute — entries received after the closing time cannot be accepted regardless of when they were sent. We will not move a closing date later because of low ticket sales, and we will not move it earlier once entries have opened.
5. The Prize
Each raffle page sets out the specific prize, including any model numbers, specifications, dates, or other details that materially affect what you receive. The headline figure shown for cash-equivalent prizes is the retail value at the time the raffle was launched.
Where a prize cannot be supplied as advertised — for example because a model has been withdrawn or a venue has closed — we will offer a like-for-like alternative of the same or higher value, or a reasonable cash alternative, at the winner’s choice. We will not reduce a prize because ticket sales were lower than hoped.
6. How Winners Are Selected
Each raffle is decided by chance. After the closing date has passed, every valid entry — paid and free — is given an equal opportunity to be selected by a verifiably random process. We retain the audit trail for each draw and can demonstrate the result on request.
Where a raffle includes instant-win prizes that are awarded during the entry period, those prizes are also allocated by chance to a position in the entry sequence, and a free postal entry is just as eligible as a paid entry to land on a winning position.
7. Notifying Winners
We will contact the winner using the email address and phone number on the entry. We will make at least three contact attempts across at least seven days. If we cannot reach the winner within 30 days of the draw, the prize may be forfeited and we may run a redraw.
By entering, you agree that, if you win, we may publish your first name, the first letter of your surname, and the town you live in (e.g. "Alex S., Maidstone") on our winners page and in our marketing. You can ask us not to publish this by emailing us before the draw. We will only publish your full surname with your express consent. If the Advertising Standards Authority asks us to verify that a prize was genuinely awarded, we must still give them your surname and county, even if you have objected to publication.
8. Receiving Your Prize
We aim to deliver every prize within 30 days of the draw, unless the raffle page states a longer timeframe. Some prizes (for example, holidays or experiences) are bookable on a specific schedule that the prize page will set out clearly. Prizes are not transferable to another person without our written consent.
You will not be charged anything to receive a prize you have won. If a prize requires a third-party booking step (such as confirming travel dates or a delivery slot) we will explain the steps in the winning notification.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
Tickets are non-refundable once a raffle has closed. If we cancel a raffle before it closes — for any reason — we will refund every paid entry in full and explain why. Where a problem with our site or our payment processor caused you to be charged without entering, we will refund the charge in full.
10. If Something Goes Wrong
We have a Complaints Procedure with clear timescales — see the Complaints page for how to raise an issue and what to expect from us. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right to seek help from Trading Standards or to take a matter to the small-claims court.
11. Limits on Our Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any single raffle is limited to the price you paid to enter that raffle. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of data, or losses we could not reasonably foresee at the time you entered.
12. Account Security and Misuse
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close any account where we reasonably believe a person is using it fraudulently, breaching these terms, abusing staff, or attempting to manipulate a draw.
13. Your Personal Data
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. By entering you confirm you have read it.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may change these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how we run the site. Changes do not apply retrospectively to raffles that have already closed; you will see the new terms before you enter your next raffle. The "last updated" date below tells you when this version came into effect.
15. Governing Law
These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by English law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
